Innovative and practical, these trousers are a great solution for wearing beneath a traditional Hakama.

 

In 8oz polyester cotton fabric, these comfortable under trousers feature:

 

Elasticated Waistband – Combined with a drawstring tie, the wide waistband is designed to be flat and comfortable for easy fastening beneath a Hakama.

 

Cut Off Leg – Designed to both cover the knee and prevent the trouser leg flashing at the bottom of the Hakama, which is generally considered to be impolite in Japanese Dojo.

 

Button Fly – Offering gentlemen the option to use the facilities without the difficulty and time involved in untying and re-tying a Hakama.

 

Pre-Shrunk Fabric - These trousers are pre-shrunk and only minimal shrinkage will occur with correct washing.

 

Sizes are primarily based on the height of the practitioner:


Size M - 165-170cm
Size L - 175-180cm
Size XL – 185-190cm
Size XXL – 195-200cm

Hakama under Trousers
Had these 8 months now. Expensive for what they are, but would not be without them, ah the joy of a button fly under a hakama! Just hope they last a few years.

Hakama Under Trousers - 8oz Zen Cotton
Excellent idea for any Martial Artist who wears a Hakama in their practice. The trousers are correct length and built to the usual quality we have come to expect from Nine Circles. Hakama Trousers
Just received my order and very pleased with this product. Being just 8oz material they will be especially great to wear under hakama during hotter weather. Or, at anytime when practicing aiki-ken and aiki-jo when there is not so much akemi. I have not seen this product type available anywhere before.
